Libby Bookshop was started in 1990 in South America. They are corresponding to the interest of the Women’s Movement Liberation and girls need to find books about ourselves. It was an exciting time of activism, learn more things and discovery. At the same women abuse were opening health centers, rape crisis centers & refuges. Very easy to the bookshop became an information centre for girl whose abuse.
Libby bookshop was established because they want to help in women’s services, mainly health and counseling, and prior to finding their way to the women’s movement had worked in teaching, psychology, advertising and travel. Were the only bookshop in America where he could find every books he wanted in the one place
We offer a regular books like poetry readings, fiction books, children books and more events, we have a twice a month Book fair, we have a lot of books displays, and with beautiful collection of women’s fiction books and poetry. Libby Bookshop is not just a bookshop it also about good reading, poetry, music, fun and adventure and great selection of women mystery! And our children books have lots of picture that can you choose what you want.
